Hammers of Hope fall small project day was on Saturday October 26th from 8:00-12:00.
Project #1: Paul and Dorothea Berggren's home, 585 Old Crystal Bay Rd, Long Lake MN 55356
Dean Wyte will be leading this project. We will be doing some trimming and yard cleanup and other minor repairs. Bring rakes, gloves, and other yard tools.

Project #2: Karen Nolte's home, 8232 Northwood Pkwy, New Hope, MN 55427
Rick Watkins and Dave Ciaciura will be the project leads. We will be doing yard cleanup, Installing Molding, replacing a door, and other minor repairs. Bring rakes, gloves, and other yard tools.

Greg Hartzel will be the project lead. We will be fixing some rock landscaping around her house and other yard cleanup. Bring shovels, wheelbarrows, gloves, and rakes.

On Saturday July 27th we helping Gloria Pointer
paint her Brooklyn Park home as part of the annual Metro Paint-A-Thon.
The Metro Paint-A-Thon is a program of the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches.
This is a simple way for us to make a big difference in the life of Gloria by taking care of a much needed painting job.
We expect to work on the following tasks:
The project will consist of scraping, minor wood repair, glazing windows, caulking, priming, and painting.
Due to the presence of lead in the existing paint, children and pregnant women cannot participate in the project.
We will be providing face masks to protect our volunteers from the lead paint chips.
Date: Saturday, July 27th from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Volunteer Needs: We need 12 volunteers at both the morning and afternoon shifts and a volunteer to provide lunch

On Saturday June 22 we helped Donna Quenroe
Donna Quenroe is a widow who lives near our church and is in need of some work
around the outside of her house. Donna is a friend of Bruce Gilbert and she has been
very active in prison ministry for the last 40 years and still continues to be involves
in prison ministry. We can help her complete some projects around her house that
she can't do herself or afford to hire out.
We worked on the following tasks:
Removed small trees that are too close to the house
Trimmed trees and many bushes, removed brush
Relandscaping a small section of the yard that had been torn-up
Due to bad weather we postponed any painting.

On Saturday May 4th we helped the Solberg family
by completing several projects around their house. Since the birth
of their 5th son Ulrik in December, Joette has spent a significant amount
of time in the hospital battling an infection.
She is continuing to recover and we can help their family by
coming along side of them and completing some projects around
their house.
We expect to work on the following tasks:
Sheetrocking the Baby Room's closet
Installing Molding and handrail in stairwell
Finish Bathroom: caulking, install towel bars, and shower curtain rod
Add shelves to linen closet
Install closet organizer
Garage Roof tearoff and reshingle
