On Saturday, Jan 7th, we helped the Miller Family with a remodeling project on their home. Nathan Miller is the son of Carroll and Becky Miller and he lost part of one of his fingers during his home remodeling project. Because of the recent surgery on his finger, he is unable to do the work on their home and could use our help with completing some of the remodeling work he started. We will be helping install hardwood flooring, cabinets, and molding in their kitchen as well as some minor plumbing, electrical, and drywall work.

On Wednesday June 7th we helped a family facing severe medical issues. Melissa Kranz is a co-worker of Greg Hartzel's and her husband Mark has been battling cancer for the past 16 months. Mark has had many surgeries and treatments and still facing many medical challenges. We are organizing a work evening to help the Kranz family with some landscaping needs at their home in St. Michael. We will provide them with some much needed encouragement by removing some old shrubs, replacing weed barrier and mulch, and restacking a wood pile. You can find out more about Mark's story on his CaringBridge site at https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/markkooskranz.

On Saturday June 24th we helped Mobile Hope by participating in the remodel of the Hope House at Maple Hills Estates. The Hope House will be used to house interns and college students that are pursuing careers in fields such as teaching, social work, and youth ministry. In order to house students, the Hope House is in need of significant improvements. To help get the Hope House ready by the end of the summer we will be installing new floor and wall cabinets in the kitchen. In addition, we will also help Dave Ciaciura with the remodel of his mobile home that is also in Maple Hills Estates. We will be helping install sheetrock in the bedroom and bathroom so that the rooms can be finished to allow Dave to move into his home.

On Saturday July 22nd we helped  Wayzata Free Church with their Sanctuary remodel project. We will be doing demolition work behind the front of the Sanctuary and framing in some new walls. In addition, the church could use help on Sunday July 23rd at 2:00 pm to tear out the pews in the Sanctuary. This is a great opportunity to meet some new friends and give back to the church that supports our ministry. This project is available for all ages and skill level.

On Saturday October 14th we helped the Mathews family with some home repairs and landscaping. On September 8th Police Officer Bill Mathews of the Wayzata Police Department was fatally struck by a vehicle while on duty. His wife Shawn and son Wyatt need our help to repair some items on their home and do some landscaping. This is our opportunity to serve this family in need. We need your help to repair some lights, fix a leaking toilet, replace some siding, repair their deck, move some landscape rock, and install a screen.
