On Saturday October 6th we replaced some deck stringers on Gloria's deck and replaced here garage door. We also worked on some landscaping that we started on Serve Day but could not finish. We where planing to paint the deck rails and spindles but the rain put a hold on that project. When the weather clears we will go back and finish.
On August 11th we had the opportunity to come alongside a young mom in our church who recently was able to purchase a home in Montrose. We painted several rooms that day. Then later installed a garbage disposal and helped her and her three young girls move into there freshly painted house.
On Serve Sunday June 3 we helped an elderly woman with her garden. We performed some spring cleaning, planted some perennials, moved rock, and put down some fresh mulch. We brightening up Gloria's day – her whole summer in fact.
On June 3 as part of Server day We served a young family that is connected to Wayzata Free Church through the Melin family. This project included: indoor painting, landscaping, trimming, washing windows, cleaning out the garage, curtain/blind hanging, and other misc jobs.
On March 17th we had the opportunity to be a blessing to a family in our community. Lisa and her son Jessie live in a home in New Hope and they needed help painting the inside of their home. We had a great time of serving and and fellowship.
We did some work for one of our Wayzata Free families. Jo’el and her grandson Rajah, who she cares for, they have been coming to Wayzata Free for many years. Her apartment needed some minor wall repairs and we gave them a fresh look with a new coat of paint.
